The 2007 National Conference on Media Reform is happening in Memphis this weekend. If you’re among the 3000 or so folk already there, terrific! I went to the first one in Madison, WI a few years ago and it was most interesting. I came dangerously close to reviving my daily-journalism career after hearing Bill Moyers and others at this event. If you’re not in Memphis, especially you’ve got broadband, you can see good chunks of this conference live via RealPlayer or QuickTime.
Free Press is the organizer of these conferences, as well as the Save The Internet Coalition leading the fight for net neutrality. They have a new Internet Freedom Declaration for your perusal as well.
